Forty outstanding young leaders have been named the winners of The Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty awards for 2011.

Boston, MA ---- The Boston Business Journal released the 2011 clas of 40 under 40 honorees. They’re all under 40, and they represent the best Massachusetts has to offer in the innovative business and nonprofit communities.

“For the past 14 years, Boston Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 competition has honored the area’s energetic executives younger than 40 who are paving their way successfully through the local business world”, Business Journal Publisher Christopher McIntosh said.

The standout performers aren’t just trailblazers in the professional realms, but also are significant players in helping the community grow through charity work.

Although they are powerful people behind big corporations and organizations, sometimes it’s the little things humanizing an executive that makes them remarkable and able to juggle huge responsibilities while not losing sight of who they are or where they came from.”

The 2011 winners will be recognized at an evening reception limited to 400 at the State Room on October 6th sponsored by jetBlue.
